Welcome to the Research Paper Submission Guideline page. Before submitting your manuscript, please ensure you follow these guidelines. Submissions will be processed through our Open Journal Systems (OJS).

Manuscript Template

Please use our official submission template to prepare your manuscript. Note that the submission will undergo a double-anonymous peer review process. Hence, the submitted manuscript file must not include any author information (names, affiliations, or metadata). Author information will be collected separately and added only after the review process is complete.

Author Details and Contact Information

Because the review process is entirely double-anonymous, ensure all identifying information is completely omitted from the main text file. Download, complete, and upload the Author Details and Contact Information Template separately during the submission process.

Ethics in Publishing

Authors are required to accept the official Journal of Project Management Research (JPMR) Ethics Statement upon submitting their manuscript. The statement strictly covers authorship criteria, data originality, plagiarism restrictions, and conflict of interest disclosures. Please review the full guidelines on our Journal Policy page.

Changes to Authorship

If you wish to add, delete, or rearrange the authors of your accepted manuscript:

• Before Online Publication: The corresponding author must contact the Journal Manager providing (a) a clear reason for the authorship modification, and (b) written consent from all co-authors (including those being added or removed). Publication will be paused until an agreement is reached.
• After Online Publication: Any requests to add, delete, or rearrange author names in an active online issue will follow the same vetting policies and will result in a formal, published corrigendum.

 

Copyright and License Agreement

JPMR operates under an author-retained-copyright model. By submitting to this journal, authors agree to publish their work under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) License. Authors must download, complete, and sign our non-exclusive Copyright and Consent Form confirming originality and granting the journal a non-exclusive right of first publication.

Language & Technical Style 

• Language: Manuscripts must be written in clear, grammatically correct English. Submissions that cannot be fully comprehended due to language barriers will be returned or rejected.
• Tables: Submit tables exclusively as editable text blocks, never as embedded images. Number tables consecutively based on text appearance and place descriptive notes directly below the table body. Avoid vertical lines and ensure tables fit naturally within standard margins.
• Figures: Submit figures as high-quality, high-resolution images. Number figures consecutively and provide a clear legend underneath each image. Ensure all data visualizations are necessary and do not duplicate textual descriptions.
• References: All in-text citations must be mapped accurately to the reference list. Authors are required to use reference management software (such as Mendeley, EndNote, or Zotero) aligned with the APA 7th Edition formatting style. Active URLs or DOIs must be appended to references where available.
